ABOUT ME
My teaching journey is fueled by a passion to help people feel at home in their bodies and connected to their hearts.
I am a body-centric healer.
I combine the modalities of Yoga, Body Work, Mentorship and Meditation to support my clients in their healing journey.
Rooted in Forrest, Yin, and Flow Yoga, along with meditation, I blend these practices with personal development to help my students create vibrant, joyful lives.
Let's explore, discover, and create together!
My journey with yoga began at the age of 13, sparked by a combination of curiosity and the accessibility of yoga videos on YouTube. What initially seemed like a lighthearted exploration soon blossomed into something far deeper, becoming an anchor of solace and resilience during my tumultuous teenage years. Battling with anorexia, anxiety, and the instability of my home life, stepping onto the mat became a consistent refuge—a space where movement wasn't about punishment, but about intuitive self-expression and deep internal listening.
As my practice evolved, so did my desire to share its transformative power with others. Teaching yoga at a local studio became a natural progression, leading me to encounter Forrest Yoga—an encounter that felt like a profound realignment of my very being. It was as though something shifted within the depths of my soul, setting me on a course of profound personal growth and spiritual discovery.
Following my formal education, I embarked on a transformative journey of my own, undertaking my first 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) at Maui Yoga Shala. The nurturing spirit of aloha infused my practice, leaving an enduring imprint on my teaching style and approach.
Since settling in Austin, Texas in 2018, I've immersed myself in the vibrant yoga community, sharing my passion and knowledge with students in local studios, private sessions, and workshops. Yet, my most profound growth occurred during an immersive training experience with Ana Forrest herself in Calgary, Canada, during the summer of 2019. This 31-day journey pushed the boundaries of my physical, mental, and spiritual capacities, teaching me not just how to teach others, but how to live with integrity, authenticity, and deep connection to my own truth.
As a certified Forrest Yoga teacher, I now hold regular classes at Yoga East Austin and facilitate workshops, continually expanding my understanding through ongoing education and training, accumulating over 300 hours of additional study since my initial Forrest Yoga certification. For me, Forrest Yoga isn't just a physical practice—it's a profound vehicle for empowering others to live with their spirits fully awakened, their hearts brimming with compassion, and their lives guided by their deepest values.
It is my dream to share this precious gift with the world, to illuminate the path for others seeking healing, transformation, and connection. Join me on the mat, where together, we'll embark on a journey toward a life filled with boundless joy, purpose, and authenticity.
